Michael Wayne Reno passed away on October 12, 2016. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on March 19, 1952. Mike was the second oldest of six children born to the late Arthur and Betty Reno.

He graduated from Shenandoah High School where he was a star athlete, member of the National Honor Society and Homecoming King. A full ride basketball scholarship to Grand Canyon College brought Mike to Arizona; he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master's degree in Physical Education. Michael Wayne Reno passed away on October 12, 2016. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on March 19, 1952. Mike was the second oldest of six children born to the late Arthur and Betty Reno.

He graduated from Shenandoah High School where he was a star athlete, member of the National Honor Society and Homecoming King. A full ride basketball scholarship to Grand Canyon College brought Mike to Arizona; he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master's degree in Physical Education. Mike stayed in Phoenix and went on to teach physical education for 30 years in the Cartwright School District, retiring in 2003.

He is survived by his wife Marsha, daughter Cameron, son Michael, daughter-in-law Jaimie, granddaughter Kennedy and his four-legged baby Gracie, all of Phoenix. He is also survived by his older brother Russ and younger siblings Jeff, Rob and Julie, all of Indiana. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister Debbie.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 4-8PM at Iron Works Restaurant at Bellair Golf Course, 17233 N 45th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85308; shirtsleeves are optional!
