Clifford "Cliff" G. McClellan was born on June 5, 1963 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He was the fourth of six children born to Robert and Joanne McClellan, having three older brothers and two younger sisters.

Cliff spent his earliest childhood years in Jackpot, Nevada; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mesa, Arizona before his family selected their permanent home in Phoenix, Arizona in the summer of 1967. He attended grade school in east Phoenix and later graduated from Camelback High School in 1981.

Cliff was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and served an 18-month mission for the church in the Bangkok Thailand Mission where he developed a love for the people, the culture, and the country.

Soon after returning from his mission, Cliff met a beautiful young Thai woman, Suwanna "Sue" Suwanakas, fell in love and was married to her in November 1986. Cliff and Sue raised one son and one daughter while living in Glendale, Arizona.

Cliff was a skilled salesman who worked at The Warehouse appliance store in Phoenix, and later spent nearly 25 years as a rental car agent with Budget and Avis Rental Car Agencies. Cliff also earned a realtor license and had assisted several families to find affordable homes.

Cliff and Sue enjoyed frequent travel to Sue's native Thailand to visit family and to enjoy the beauty of Thailand.

Cliff quietly passed away in his sleep on November 23, 2016 and joined his loved ones on the other side of the veil, awaiting the future joyful reunion with the loved ones he left behind.

Cliff was kind, caring, funny, and frequently went out of his way to be a "Good Samaritan". He will be truly missed by all who knew him!

Cliff is survived by his wife Suwanna, stepdaughter Linda Howard, Son-In-Law Sammy Howard, granddaughter Milah Howard, and son Cliff Surachai McClellan. Cliff's surviving siblings include brothers Robert "Kelly", Lee, and Alan; and sisters Bobbi McClellan and Lisa Schultz. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Joanne McClellan.
