Bill Boone Jr., 54, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away at home on September 12, 2017 surrounded by his loving family members. A native of Arizona, he was born on February 7, 1963 to the late Bill Boone Sr. and Ella Mae.

After obtaining his AA Degree in sociology from Phoenix College and his BA Degree in sociology from Ottawa University, Bill began his approximately 25 year counseling career. He culminated his career with Southwest Behavioral Health after fourteen years of counseling and advocating for the homeless in the greater Phoenix area.

After obtaining his AA Degree in sociology from Phoenix College and his BA Degree in sociology from Ottawa University, Bill began his approximately 25 year counseling career. He culminated his career with Southwest Behavioral Health after fourteen years of counseling and advocating for the homeless in the greater Phoenix area.

He was a devoted Arizona Cardinal's fan. Bill even spent time coaching football for both Carl Hayden High School and Phoenix College. He is preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Cristina, sister-in-law's Laura (Mike) Spaulding, Patti (Jeff) Gast and, Dianna Perkins, his cousins Joyce Moe and George (Bonnie) Russell, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at West Resthaven Funeral Home at 6450 W. Northern Avenue Glendale, Arizona. Visitation will be from 8:30AM to 10:00AM with a funeral service immediately following at 10:00AM. Bill will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.

In lieu of flowers his family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bill's name to St. Vincent De Paul, Calvary Community Church, or Premier Hospice and Palliative Care.
